Hangar of the Future Projects
Hangar of the Future’s award-winning research faculty and student design teams have won several national design challenge competitions, including FAA/ACRP and Boeing IT Case national competitions.



We often collaborate directly with industry on-site! Student teams conduct process mapping and hazard analysis, task analysis, review technical work instructions, and job-shadow front line engineers and technicians to determine the best type of technology design requirements.


Projects typically focus on mid-level innovations on existing technologies. Although once we accidentally created some cool new software and won a national competition...weird, huh?
